BOONE, Iowa—Boone County Emergency Management Coordinator Lance Kooiker has announced that due to the Labor Day Holiday, the regular monthly county-wide test of the warning sirens will not be held on Monday, September 7th. The test is now reschedule to Tuesday, September 8th at about 1:00 p.m. Kooiker says if severe weather is a concern, the test will be cancelled and the next regular test will be held the first Monday in October at 1:00 p.m.
