BOONE, Iowa—The weather conditions over the past couple of days have had an impact on the dangerous fire conditions in Boone County. Boone Fire Chief Justin Adams reported Thursday afternoon that notification will be made to the State Fire Marshall to lift the Burn Ban that has been in effect for Boone County. The ban went into effect Thursday morning, October 15th. According to the State Fire Marshall, there were 18-counties with burn bans in the past couple of days. Most are located in the western part of the state.
