AMES, Iowa—Funeral arrangements have been set for 79-year old James Dale Turner of rural Ames, Iowa.  He passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 at the Israel Family Hospice House, Ames, Iowa. A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gilbert Cemetery with burial to follow the graveside service.

Visitation will be held at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets, Boone on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  The family will be present and will receive friends at the funeral chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
