CLIVE, Iowa—A Minneapolis woman has won a $50,000 lottery prize on a lottery ticket she purchased in Boone.
Miranda Wiens won the sixth top prize in the Iowa Lottery’s “Holiday Riches” scratch game. She purchased her winning ticket at Flash Mart, 315 Story St. in Boone, and claimed her prize Monday at the lottery’s Mason City regional office.
Holiday Riches is a $5 scratch game that features eight top prizes of $50,000 and overall odds of 1 in 3.85.
Players can enter nonwinning holiday scratch tickets into the lottery’s Winner Wonderland® Play It Again® promotion from now through 8:59 a.m. on Jan. 5. The promotion features $640,000 in cash prizes, including a $250,000 grand prize. For rules and complete details, visit ialottery.com.
