BOONE, Iowa—Funeral arrangements have been set for 91 Marcella Conlin of Boone, Iowa and the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone, Iowa.  Marcella passed away at the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone on Monday afternoon where she had been a resident for the past 13 years.

She was born on July 26, 1929 in Boone, Iowa the daughter of Ernest and Lucy (Stotts) Zanker.

Marcella was a graduate of Boone High School. She was a homemaker, enjoyed baking, reading and putting jigsaw puzzles together in later years.

On June 28, 1948, she married Ellery “Curly” Conlin at Boone, Iowa.

Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, husband “Curly” in 2005, an infant daughter Victoria in 1952, and her sister Faye, in 2004.

Survivors include her daughter Renee (Tim) Sheibley of Boone, a son Bruce (Paula) Conlin of Boone, a granddaughter Monique (John) Vrablik of Kildeer, Illinois, a grandson Sean (Lyndsey) Conlin of Boone, a great-grandson Sam Conlin and a great-granddaughter Olivia Conlin both of Boone, and a brother Rev. Gerald (Carol) Zanker of Galva, Kansas.

There will be no public visitations.  A private family graveside service will be held with burial to follow at Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone with The Reverend Kristine Leaman officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Friends of Ericson Public Library, c/o Renee Sheibley, 1721 Greene Street, Boone, Iowa 50036.
