There will be a short dry period later this morning into a part of this afternoon before the second wave of precipitation moves into the state. Snow accompanied by strong winds will create blizzard conditions over western Iowa and toward the I-35 corridor tonight into Friday. Significant travel impacts with near impossible travel at times later tonight into Friday is expected.
