BOONE, Iowa—Just under a foot of snow reported at the Boone Water Environment Station in McHose Park at 8:00 Tuesday morning. The 11.2 inches of snow only produced .62 inches of moisture. The last big snow event for January 26th and 27th was a blizzard in 1996 when the Water Environment Station record 12.5 inches of snow over the two-day period.
