BOONE COUNTY, Iowa—The Boone County Endowment Fund reminds all 501(c)(3), not-for-profit, 107b unit of government and any potentially qualifying nonprofit civic organizations operating for the benefit of Boone County that the 2021 grant application deadline of 4 pm on February 5th is drawing near.

Community leaders from throughout Boone County have been busy establishing the Boone County Endowment Fund to foster community based philanthropy throughout the county. The foundation has a state award of $108,610 to be utilized for both endowment building and grantmaking. $75,755 will be granted in 2021. Additional funding may become available from our Grow Greene County partners and our Fill the Gap campaign.
