Posted on 16 April 2021 by KWBG

DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service office in Des Moines has passed along this week’s updated drought monitor report.  There was slight improvement in northwest Iowa where there’s been an area of extreme drought. That area is now considered severe drought.  Locally, no change was reported.  Northwest Boone County is still considered abnormally dry.
