BOONE, Iowa—The test of the warning sirens in Boone County is conducted the first Monday of the month at 1:00 p.m. Today’s test has been cancelled due to the weather. Boone County Emergency Management is responsible for the test and Lance Kooiker reports that possible stormy weather this afternoon is the reason for cancelling the test. The next regular, county-wide test of the system is now scheduled for June 7th at 1:00 p.m.
