BOONE, Iowa—Information this week from the U.S. Drought Monitor, NOAA and the USDA shows Boone County is split with Abnormally Dry conditions in the west half of the county and Moderate Drought in the east half.
Abnormally Dry 78.4% of the state, Moderate Drought 36.9% or the state and Severe Drought in northwest Iowa is 7.6% of the state.
