Posted on 25 August 2021 by KWBG

DAYTON, Iowa—The Serpentine Drill Team is always an important part of the Dayton Rodeo and the 2021 show will be no different. The ladies are all members of the Dayton Wranglers Saddle Club.  The show is one of the most colorful, intricate displays of horsemanship you will see and has been a Dayton Rodeo tradition for many years.  The music, horses, flags and cowgirls decorate the arena for the Grand Entry and the Serpentine Riders will gallop around the arena in time to the music with flashy routines to dazzle everyone.

Front row:  Lexi Thorpe, Haylie Roberts, Taylor Haffner, Hailey Tuel, Alivia Anderson, Natalie Riker, and Cameran Haakma.  Back row:  Kalie Buenting, Katara Jondle, Kanyon Pepples, Elizabeth Hill, and Harley Eckert.    The team is led by Mya Porter.
