Boone School Board Awards Contract for Pre-Grading Work for Early Childhood Center

BOONE, Iowa—The Boone School Board formally approved a bid from Construct, Inc. of Ames for preliminary site grading for the district new Early Childhood Center.  The Board accepted the low bid of $247,226.  A total of six bids were received.  Three were under $300,000 and three were over.  The highest bid was $427,300.  Work will begin on the site once harvest has been completed.
