Record Rainfall Recorded in Boone

BOONE, Iowa—The Boone Water Environment Station at McHose Park has reported a record rainfall amount of 2.52 inches as of 8:00 a.m. The previous record of 1.47 inches was reported in 1908.  Similar reports have been received from several locations in Central Iowa.
