BOONE, Iowa—Sten Joddi, an enrolled member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation of Oklahoma, will speak at a free Native American Heritage Month event at the DMACC Boone Campus. Jodi, who has survived violence, abuse, suicide and addiction, will speak at 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 30 in the Boone Campus Auditorium. His presentation is sponsored by the DMACC Social Justice Club.
The award-winning HipHop artist has produced six full-length studio albums and credits his ability to overcome obstacles by maintaining his priorities of family, healthy lifestyle, tattoos, music and reconnecting with the Creator and Earth.
His topics will include:
