OGDEN, Iowa—Funeral arrangements are set for 67 year old Dave B. Keel of Ogden, Iowa. He passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Zion Lutheran Church in Ogden.  Pastor Stephen Ude will officiate.  Burial will follow at Maas Cemetery rural Ogden.  Visitation will be Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Carson ~ Stapp Funeral Home in Ogden. David Blaine Keel was born on July 5, 1954, in Ogden, Iowa, the son of Leland and Mary (Ehlers) Keel.  He graduated with the Ogden High School class of 1972.

On September 21, 1985, Dave was united in marriage to Judy Walters in Ogden, Iowa.  They were blessed with one son, T.J.

Dave was currently employed by Northern Natural Gas in Ogden, where he had worked for over 36 years.

Dave was an avid fan of Iowa State Cyclone fan.  He enjoyed golfing and spending time with family, especially his grandson Trevor.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Keel of Ogden, Iowa; son, T.J. (Amy) Keel of Ames, Iowa; his grandson, Trevor Keel of Ames, Iowa; one brother, Alan (Sharon) Keel of Las Vegas, Nevada; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant brother, William J. Keel.
