BOONE, Iowa—McFarland Clinic is pleased to announce Hanna Kim, OD, will join the McFarland Clinic Boone Optometry Department on January 4, 2022.

Dr. Kim received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the State University of New York, Geneseo College in Geneseo, New York. She went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri St. Louis College of Optometry in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Kim is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Kim joins the team with ten years of optometric experience. Dr. Kim practiced for six years as a optometrist in the U.S. Army and continues to serve in that capacity in the U.S. Army Reserve.

As an Optometrist, Dr. Kim will provide services including vision testing for children and adults, eyeglasses and contact fittings, screening and treatment of various eye conditions and diseases, low vision assessments, diabetic eye exams, pre-surgical evaluations and post-concussive eye exams.
