BOONE, Iowa— The Boone County Community Foundation reminds all 501(c)(3), not-for-profit, 107b unit of government and any potentially qualifying nonprofit civic organizations operating for the benefit of Boone County that the 2022 grant application deadline of 4 pm on February 4th is drawing near.

The Boone County Community Foundation has received a $145,443 state award for countywide grantmaking and endowment building. The payment is a result of legislation (House File 2302) passed in 2004 by the Iowa General Assembly. $109,082 will be available for grantmaking in 2022 and $36,361 has been placed in the permanent endowment.

The Boone County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that a new on-line application process will begin this year. The application and information is now available for online grant application.
