BOONE, Iowa—The Rec Wellness Center planning committee in Boone will be hosting another public meeting this evening, at 7:00 p.m. at the Boone City Hall Auditorium. The meeting is expected to include a virtual tour of the proposed facility presented by Denovo, the company selected to assist with initial design and construction information. Other issues will include an ongoing discussion regarding parking concerns and also possible competition for established businesses.
