DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service is projecting the potential for severe weather this weekend. Rain and thunderstorms were expected this weekend, now it appears there is a good possibility for strong to severe storms Saturday afternoon and evening. Timing currently expected between 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Saturday.
