DES MOINES, Iowa—Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig commented Monday on the Iowa Crop Progress and Condition Report released by the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service. Boone blaze moves 10 this weekend

An apartment building near west Boone sustained damage this weekend.  Around 12:29 Saturday afternoon, the Boone Fire Department responded to 115 First Street on the report of a structure fire.  After putting out the blaze, firefighters believed an electrical issue was the possible cause.  Ten tenants of that building are currently displaced by the fire.
