OGDEN, Iowa—Congratulations to Josie Hildreth and Grace Downey, recipients of scholarships from the Boone County Democrats, who have raised $3,500 in the past 2 years to provide scholarships to 7 deserving Boone County students.
Penny Vossler, Chairperson for the Boone County Democrats said, “Tonight it is my privilege to honor 2 outstanding Ogden High School Students with a scholarship award. I sometimes hear people grumble about 9kids these days. But when I look at these two intelligent, hard-working, accomplished and involved young people – I can’t help but think that the future of our country is pretty bright because of some of the kids these days!”
