Boone City Wide Clean Up Next Two Weeks

BOONE, Iowa—The Boone City-Wide Clean Up will begin North of Mamie Eisenhower on Monday. Boone City officials encourage residents to set out items on Sunday, June 5th for pickup. Recently on KWBG, John Rouse emphasized the pickup will be for residents only, and will not include regular garbage set out weekly. He also said that they will not be taking any appliances, tires, televisions, computer monitors or towers unless residents call 515-432-4211 ext. 1129 arrange for those items to be picked up. There are fees charged at the landfill for those items and Public Works will not take then unless the fee is paid first.

The part of the city South of Mamie Eisenhower will be picked up beginning Monday, June 13th. Items should be set out Sunday, June 12th.
