Iowa Arboretum and Gardens Summer Concert Series

MADRID, Iowa—This week, the Iowa Arboretum and Gardens plans to kick-off it’s new, historic event “Tunes in the Trees”. Recently on KWBG, Mark Schneider, Executive Director for the Iowa Arboretum and Gardens, said the idea has been there for some time and now is the time to bring it to a reality. The details were recently released:

The Iowa Arboretum & Gardens is hosting its first-ever Summer Concert Series that will take place on the second Tuesday of each month, June through September, from 6-8 pm at the Beckwith Grand Pavilion. Tickets can be purchased at each event, free for members (kids 12 and under free) and $5 for non-members. Food trucks will be on-site and drinks (including beer and wine) will be available for purchase. Bring a lawn chair and blanket and join us in the trees!

September 13th – Gilbert High School Jazz Band (opener) Diva and the Deacons feat. Tina Haase Findlay
(Food by Smokin Big Dawgs)
