MADRID, Iowa—Roberta “Bobbi” Lynn (Riordan) Carlson, age 61 of Madrid, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at UnityPoint- Iowa Methodist in Des Moines.

Bobbi was born on September 8, 1960 in Boone, the eldest daughter of Robert and Janice (Neely) Riordan. She graduated from Boone High School in 1979.

Bobbi was united in marriage with Gary Warren in 1979. From this union were two daughters, Jenelle and Carissa. The couple later divorced.

Bobbi went back to school, graduating from DMACC in 1999 to be a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked as an LPN for over 20 years. Bobbi was dedicated to her residents and built many close bonds over the years.

When Bobbi was not busy working, she cared for her beloved Chihuahua, Chazz. She loved her family and spending time with them as often as she could.

Bobbi was preceded in death by her parents; sister, JoDee Riordan; grandson, Bryson Ray Nickell; and aunt, Cheryl Berning.

She is survived by her daughters, Jenelle Warren (Melissa Baumbach) and Carissa (Aaron) Nickell, all of Boone; sister, Cindy (Greg) Waters of Boone; brothers, Mike (Leah) Riordan and Jerry Riordan, both of Boone; grandson, Xavier Nikkell; along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Monday, June 20, 2022 at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets in Boone. Bobbi will be cremated following the visitation.
