BOONE, Iowa—The Iowa State Patrol has released the identity of the man killed in a Hardin County accident Sunday evening. According tot he accident report, 39 year old Joel Jeffress of Madrid was traveling east on a county road south of Hubbard when he apparently failed to stop at a stop sign. The Jeffress vehicle was struck south bound semi, operated by 61 year old Kenneth Hack of Alden. Jeffress’ body was taken to the State Medical Examiner. The accident remains under investigation.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Hardin County Sheriff’s Department, the Hardin County Emergency Squad, the Hubbard Fire and EMS, the Iowa Falls EMS, Iowa DOT Enforcement.
