Beverly was a member of First Baptist Church and throughout the many years, enjoyed being a part of several church ministries. She belonged to the Squires & Dames Dance Club, Boone County Hospital Auxiliary, and a card club that met once a month. Beverly and Charles loved traveling with friends, either on their motorcycles, cruise ships, bus trips, or their annual short trips. Each year they enjoyed spending a day or two at the Iowa State Fair.
