Boone Wrestlers benefit from Hunt & Fish Club donation

Posted on 25 October 2022 by KWBG

On Monday, the Boone Hunt and Fish Club made the official presentation of $500 to the Boone Wrestling Club.  According to Coty Mallicoat of the Wrestling Club, donations such as this are used to upgrade mats, conditioning equipment and singlets.  The Boone Wrestling Club has seen a resurgence in recent years.  In 2017, there were 37 kids involved with the program.  When the mats are rolled out for the first practice on November 3rd, the Club anticipates over 100 participants for this year’s season.  Sign up to become a part of the Boone Wrestling Club is going on now, and they welcome all skill sets from beginners to those who have earned national titles.  Forms for signing up are available through the Club’s Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/BooneWrestlingClub

Additional donations may be given to the Boone Wrestling Club by contacting Coty Mallicoat through the Club’s Facebook page.
