BOONE, Iowa—The National Weather Service released updated drought information from the U.S. Drought Monitor this past Thursday. Conditions in Iowa did improve from the previous week, especially over eastern Iowa. Meanwhile in western Iowa, Extreme and Exceptional Drought conditions expanded.
