BOONE, Iowa—The City of Boone’s Arts Board “Community Christmas Celebration” Thursday will be moved indoors due to the weather. The activities, planned for Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. were scheduled for the downtown Boone Greenspace. However, the forecast is now calling for rain and snow in the afternoon and early evening Thursday. The new “Community Christmas Celebration” will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, in the auditorium at Boone City Hall. The Boone Community Chorus will perform. There will be a special appearance from Santa Claus (including photos with Santa).

The community is invited to celebration the Spirit of Giving by bringing donations for the Donation Drive. More details on the Donation Drive can be found at Facebook.com/Boone.Arts/
