Weather Service Updates Information on Winter Weather

DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service office in Des Moines has released updated information on the impact of hazardous winter weather today and Thursday. This storm system will feature moderate to heavy snow and blowing snow, freezing rain/icing or a wintry mix, and windy conditions. (contributed information, NWS)

Construction Work Causes Partial Closure on Snedden Drive This Week

BOONE, Iowa—Boone Public Works has announced that there will be a partial closure in the 900 area of Corporal Roger Snedden Drive from 7:00 a.m. Tuesday morning until about 9:00 a.m. Thursday morning for construction work along the shoulder. Those using Corporal Roger Snedden Drive are asked to slow down and use caution.
