BOONE, Iowa—Terry Honeycutt, age 73 of Boone, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023 at the Boone County Hospital.

Born Terry Trushcheff on July 27, 1949 in Fort Dodge, the daughter of James R. and Jeanne Esther (Blaylock) Trushcheff. Terry attended Des Moines Tech. Terry was united in marriage with Kenneth E. Honeycutt on September 18, 1992.

Terry loved flower gardening and most of all her family especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Terry was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Tony “Tiger” Vandarwarka. She is survived by her husband, Honeycutt; children, Shannon Vandarwarka, Andrea (Steve) Vandarwarka and Rebecka Honeycutt (Mitchell Reagan); grandchildren, Ashley Whitmer, Nicholas Vandarwarka, Max McCreary and Megan Honeycutt; along with numerous great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sherry Holfinger.

Per Terry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Terry’s Life at a later date.
