WASHINGTON, D.C.—Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) this morning spoke with students from Ogden High School in Boone County over breakfast during their annual senior trip to Washington, D.C. Grassley answered questions from students on how he got started in public service, participatory government and his use of social media.
Grassley said, “During my time in Iowa over Easter break, I heard from a variety of Iowans on what issues were important to them. This practice doesn’t stop once I get to Washington. Sharing breakfast with these senior students is one thing I look forward to each year as it provides young minds an opportunity to express concerns and ask questions on any topic.”
