Boone Warning Siren Test

BOONE, Iowa—Within the last week, maintenance has been conducted on some of the warning sirens in Boone. The City is expecting a test of the sirens at 1:00 Monday afternoon, April 17th. Currently the test is planned for the City of Boone only.

Sewer Work Closes Mamie Eisenhower Between Story and Marshall Streets

BOONE, Iowa—Boone Public Works has closed a portion of Mamie Eisenhower Avenue, between Story Street and Marshall Street for sewer work. The work began Monday morning and is expected to continue until late Tuesday. Please plan your travel around the construction area.
