DES MOINES, Iowa—The weekly U.S. Drought Monitor mapping shows some slight changes in drought conditions in some portions of Iowa, but the estimated percentages for drought conditions is unchanged. Nearly 90% of the state is in some sort of drought condition ranging from abnormally dry to extreme drought. Boone County has remained unchanged with more than 99% of the county considered abnormally dry.
