BOONE, Iowa—Fire Fighters from Boone, Ogden, Gilbert, and Kelley were at the scene of a Monday morning house fire at 1051 X Avenue in eastern Boone County. The fire call was received by the Boone County Communications Center shortly after 8:00. Fire fighters were on the scene for a few hours extinguishing the fire.

Boone County records indicate the property is owned by Ryan Irlmeier. Authorities report that there were no injuries and the cause remains under investigation.

The Boone County Sheriff’s Department provided traffic control at the scene and was also requested to provide extra patrol by Monday afternoon. Also assisting at the scene Boone County Emergency Management and the Boone County Hospital Ambulance.
