BOONE, Iowa—Grover “Bill” Crouse II, 74, of Boone, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Stratford Specialty Care in Stratford, from a brief illness.

Private services will be held.

Grover was born January 7, 1949, in Boone, the son of Grover and Georgia (Nation) Crouse.

Grover worked for 49 ½ years with Fareway in the warehouse. He only stopped working because his health wouldn’t allow him too. Grover was very passionate about and could be considered a Corvette connoisseur, he currently owned his 14th vette.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Grover is survived by his brother, Tim Crouse; three cousins and other family in Texas.
