DES MOINES, Iowa—The U.S. Drought Monitor conditions showed a slight improvement from a week ago. Portions of the state considered Abnormally Dry increased to more than 20% which reduced the overall amount of the state considered in some form of drought. Boone County remains unchanged again this week, remaining Abnormally Dry.
