BOONE, Iowa—Boone County Secondary Roads will begin a planned culvert project near Madrid today (Monday) and are hoping to have it completed by the end of the week. The project is on 300th Street near Rose Road. The county will be removing a small bridge and replacing with a culvert on 300th Street right east of Rose Road. The road will be closed to through traffic, please plan on using alternative routes for the duration of this project. The time of the closure is estimated to take approximately 1 week weather dependent.
