BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Road Department had to close down a regrading project, started earlier this month, due to the rain. The announcement Tuesday afternoon, A portion of the 230th St. road regrading project has become impassible due to the recent rains. Please plan to use alternative routes until crews can stabilize this portion of roadway. We are hoping to have this completed by the next day depending on the weather.
The portion closed is 230th Street, east of “J” Avenue.
