Monday Power Outage

BOONE, Iowa—Alliant Energy reported that over 2,100 customers were affected by the power outage that occurred on their system on the east side of Boone, Monday afternoon about 5:45 p.m. on Quartz Avenue. The report did indicate the service was restored to most customers by 6:22 p.m. The report does not indicate the cause of the outage.
