BOONE, Iowa—There’s one city council race in Boone this election cycle. In the 4th Ward, incumbent council member Terry Moorman is being challenged by Patrick Shaw. Both agreed to sit down for individual interviews with KWBG. Those interviews will be broadcast Tuesday afternoon at 5:00 on KWBG FM 101.5, AM 1590 and on the live stream at www.kwbglive.com.
Only voters in the 4th Ward of Boone will be able to vote for their candidate. Other City Council positions are the 2nd Ward where Cory Henson is unopposed. He was appointed to fill the vacated seat of B.J. McGinn earlier this year. Kyle Angstrom is running unopposed for an At-Large Council position that he won in a special election earlier this year.
