BOONE, Iowa—Jim Eaves, 78, of Boone, departed this life, Thursday, November 2, 2023, at home with his family by his side.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. Monday, November 6, 2023, at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel, 1006 6th Street, Boone.
Jim was united in marriage to Pamela Love on May 27, 1972, in Boone. To this union three children were born.
Jim was employed at Ames Engineering for 20 years. He enjoyed reading, welding, tinkering in his garage, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his mom, Maxine Sundine; father, Lester Eaves; step-father, Joseph Sundine, Jr., and sister, Jane Lass.
Jim is survived by his wife of 51 years, Pamela Eaves; children, Jennifer (Lennus) Drennen, Angela Spanbauer, and Christopher Eaves; bonus daughter, Paula (Tommy Mohs) Love; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph (Leeann) Sundine III, and several nieces and nephews.
