MOINGONA, Iowa—Roselyn Faye Wilhite, 81, formerly of Moingona, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone. She had been a resident there since July of 2022. She was born on December 14, 1941, the daughter of LeRoy and Mary (Sebring) Foster. She attended school in Boone. On June 8, 1958, she was united in marriage to Richard “Dick” Wilhite.

Roselyn was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Mary Foster, and sisters: Darlene Marshall, Arlene Browning, and JoAnn Minnig.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Wilhite of Boone, IA; two sons, Steven Wilhite and Kevin Wilhite both of Prescott Valley, AZ; grandson, Chirstopher Alongi and his husband Lucas Vital of Oakland, CA; two great-grandchildren, Inara and Indigo Alongi of Oakland, CA, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Moingona, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Boone Hunt and Fish Club.
