Boone County Republic Caucus

BOONE, Iowa—The Iowa Republican Party reports that just under 1,100 Boone County Republicans caucused on Monday evening. Weather conditions certainly played a part in the process. Boone County Republicans had 505 votes for former President Donald Trump, nearly 46 and a half percent. A little stronger support for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis with 301 votes or just over 27 and a half percent. Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley had 174 votes or 16 percent of the total. Vivek Ramaswamy had 84 votes, just under 8 percent. Others receiving votes were Ryan Binkley and Asa Hutchinson.
