BOONE, Iowa—James Rogers, 74, of Boone, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines.

Cremation has taken place and there will no services.

James was born February 26, 1949, in Van Nuys, CA, the son of Jesse and Betty (Tibbot) Rogers. He was united in marriage to Marsha Witcraft on July 14, 1981, in Lake Tahoe, CA. James enjoyed fishing and he is now fishing with the Angels.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

James is survived by his wife of 42 years Marsha Rogers of Boone; two sons, James (Pam) Rogers and John (Katie) Rogers; three grandchildren, Colby, Kassie, and Jarod; two great-grandchildren and one on the way; and a sister, Julie (Pat) Boyle, who all live in California.
