BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Supervisors took time out of their meeting Monday to sign off on a proclamation presented by Brittany Rice of Community and Family Resources. The proclamation if for Problem Gambling Awareness Month, recognized during March. Rice said it’s certainly tied to March Madness. She also talked to the Supervisors about the gambling related contacts for the Super Bowl. She also talked about the increase in connections with people that are concerned about how gambling is affecting them at this time. Rice is scheduled to be a guest on the KWBG News and Public Affairs Program Tuned In on Monday.
