DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service office in Des Moines has provided a morning update on the expectations of hazardous weather conditions for today and into the weekend. Travel conditions early Friday morning in Boone County have certainly taken a turn due to accumulations of wet, slushy snow.
