DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service office in Des Moines has updated information about the next wave of winter weather that will impact Iowa. The large system is expected to produce rain, snow, thunderstorms, and strong winds. The timing will be Sunday into Tuesday. Northern Iowa will see accumulating snowfall Sunday then turning to all rain. Central and Southern Iowa will see mainly rain and thunderstorms. There will be widespread gusty winds.
