Jennifer Hanson, Executive Director, Boone County Chamber of Commerce is joined by Kelley Molitor, Downtown Boone Committee to talk about Chamber related activities. We heard about the work going into preparing for a Main Street Iowa application which needs to be submitted in late May. The Downtown Boone Spring Clean-up Day is Saturday and we heard about other Chamber events coming up this month. Aired Thursday, April 04, 2024.

Wind Advisory Wednesday, 1:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service office in Des Moines has issued a Wind Advisory for a large portion of the state beginning early Wednesday and continuing until Wednesday evening. Northwest winds are expected be sustained 25 m.p.h. to 35 m.p.h. and will be gusting to 50 m.p.h. (contributed information, NWS)
